THE LOST LIVES AND THE LIVING DEAD....!!!!

This time the post is a mere fact about certain families in Hyderabad. today, 25th August, is a sad to day to every Hyderabadi who witnessed the blasts exactly one year back at the Gokul Chat and the Lumbini Park. Both the sites were filled woth people and with in the next few minutes it was all filled with blood. On 25th august 2007, there were serial bomb blasts in Hyderabad and there were many innocent people killed and many more injured who are still fighting for life.

There was a sister who went to get a Rakhi to her brother as the following day was the day she waited for the year long. There was a mother who took her kids to the Gokul Chat for the famous Pani Puri. There were young Hyderabadis who went to the Lumbini Park for enjoying the musical fountains.none of them knew that they are going to miss out their destinations.

The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh promised to take all the necessary actions and provide exgratia to the victims and their families but today the families blame that they just lost hope on the CM's words. with in two days of the blasts there was a picture of the person who was thought to be responsible for the blasts but till today he was not caught. not till today that the victims were remembered again may be by the media or by the govt. or by the people of the city.

just today, i have seen a story about a guy who was very badly affected by the blast at the Gokul Chat. Sadashiva Reddy, a software engineer by profession, and a good team player and a very talented employee of an MNC in Hyderabad, was hurt to his head on the day of the blast when he went out to enjoy the drizzle at the evening along with the famous chat. but today, he is in a situation of a special care child who needs assistance for each and every activity in his daily routine. his parents are both in the age where they cant take care of their son by themselves. so their elder son left his own family in their in-law's place and is taking care of his brother and his parents. They say that the Govt. has helped them by giving Rs.20,000/- after the blast. but still, it costs them above Rs.20,000/- per month for the medication. They are not blaming the Govt. for their problem but that they are blaming their own fate for whatever happened. they are not asking for any financial assistance but they are fighting for a job to the father so that he canbe a helping hand to the elder son. can't the Govt. provide a job to the senior citizen who is already in vain but still wants to help his son's life to keep going????

i just had tears in my eyes when i was watching the show. the mother was a very hard person to see who wished her son would get married and leave to US very soon but now it is not the case. she no longer wishes so. she just want her son to call her "mom" and ask him some food when he is hungry. this is the situation of not only this family but also many others who ere affected.

Back at the Gokul chat, when i visited it last month, we can still feel the terror and the warmth of the lives that were shot dead. the Lumbini park still is not out of fear and the musical fountain had lost the tune and spirit in the last one year.

This is Hyderabad. the life of the sixth metropolitan city in the country. where ever the terrorism opens its clutches, the evidences are found in the city. from any where in the country, the police come to the city and investigate and return home with some proofs of their doubts. but what are the polic in the city doing?? why aren't they able to catch the one responsible for the atacks. it is not only the case of Gokul Chat or the Lumbini Park, but also the Mecca Masjid blasts last year. none of the culprits are caught.

WHOM SHOULD WE BAME?? THE POLICE? THE GOVT.? THE PEOPLE WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTACK? GOD? OR OURSELVES???
WHO EVER WAS RESPONSIBLE, IT IS THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE SUFFERING. LET US PRAY FOR THE SOULS OF THE DEAD TO REST IN PEACE AND CONVEY OUR CONDOLENCES TOT HE FAMILIES OF THE AFFECTED.

CONCLUDE IT YOURSELF.....!!!!

THE HEADING SEEMS DIFFERENT, BUT STILL THAT IS THE SITUATION WHICH I AM FACING NOW..LET ME KNOW THE CONCLUSION WITH YOUR COMMENT....

Let me start the topic with some question. dont just skip the questions. read them properly adn think about it ok.
well to start with...what do u wish to have in ur lunch today??? a Pizza or a Burger or some Pasta or some Indian food like Parantha or a south Indian Thali???? what do you wish to eat???? i dont know or either i dont wish to know wat your answer is....but still select an answer before reading the next lines.

for example u have selected a Pizza for ur lunch today and ordered it from the Pizza Hut. u got it delivered to u after the 30 minutes and then u finally sit and open the Pizza box for a yummy pizza. u have a bite of it and u then feel that it doesnot taste as u wished it wud be. so, wat do u do????
let me gues it for instance...u directly go to the dustbin and throw the pizza there and give away two/three curses to the someone who prepared it and atleast one of them to urself for having ordered a Pizza. this is the case not onlywith the Pizza but also with any ther option for your lunch.
HMMMM.,
we human beings are leading a very great life. almost all of u reading this post are leading a life that gives you a perfect three times a day meal.Am i right??? i think i am right. we sit in the AC room and feel sad for the Not Good tasting Burger or a Pizza. we complain our mom for not cooking tasty food or curse the baker for not preparing it properly. we select different meal everyday and everytime we take it. but did u ever think of those people who hardly get one meal a day??? did u ever think wat do they eat??? i think u will anser it a NO...right...!!! this is where we stand. we dont thin about any one else atleast in the matter of food but still we are not satisfied with wat we have.
SOME BASIC FACTS....
Approximately, 7million children per year loose their life as they were hungry.Experts tell us that as many as 1 billion human beings - one out of five on our planet - are under-nourished and go to bed hungry each night. Not each month, not each week, but each day, 19,000 people die of hunger and hunger-related diseases. That is 13 people every minute of every hour of every day.The worst earthquake in modern history killed 242,000 people in China in 1976. Hunger kills that many every 12 days. There are villages in India where 85% of the families have experienced the loss of at least one child. This is the situation of the whole world.
LET ME TEL YOU ABOUT A PLACE....
there is a place where the food crisis had pushed them towards starvation. Their only business resembles the thriving pottery. In a dusty courtyard women mould clay and water into hundreds of little platters and lay them out to harden in the Carabbean sun. This is the situation in HAITI. the mud cakes are baked not for selling to the customers but to feed their own chilfren. seems ridiculous....but it is a fact. cildren there survive on mud cakesand it is not for taste and nutrion but because they are the cheapest and increasingly only way to fill bellies. every mother fights very hard to breast feed her child.
SO WAT ARE U THINKING NOW??? WILL U EVER AGAIN THINK ABOUT THE TASTE OF OUR FOOD??? WILL YOU THROW ANY EATABLES INTO THE DUSTBIN???.......AND I DONT HAVE ANY MORE WORDS SO THAT I CAN CONCLUDE THIS POST....CONCLUDE IT YOURSELF WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS.

WOULD U LIKE TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY LIKE THIS???

India WAS a country known for its tradition, culture and harmony. we, Indians, were known for our self respect, our respect to the society, our ethics, our values etc...we were always put in the first place when came the point of "punctuality","discipline","sincerity" and what not??? everything. the way we got our freedom, the way we followed great leaders, the way we obeyed all the principles and values of our ancestors inspired the whole world. the rest of the world looked at India as a place where there is not only man power but also the knowledge and respect. there was a time when all the foreign goods were set to fire.

but, today is this the same place????
where is the culture and tradition?? where is the talent of the country working?? where is the respect and obedience to the society?? where is the matter of relationships?? today, when you ask a child about Bhagat Singh, he utters not a single word. because he just don't know. in the summer vacation, there are summer camps teaching the children the famous western dance "SALSA" but there is none of that sort for kuchipudi or bharatanatyam. today, we find mothers in the western attire and fathers with a different look but very few of them wearing the traditional Saree(women) and dhoti(men). we find the youth enjoying the late night parties but none of them interested in the get-together parties of their families.

SIMPLE EXAMPLE FROM THE RECENT PAST,
there were performers from Russia, London etc. during the opening ceremony of the First IPL matches in India. why doesn't the government encourage the arts and culture of our country??? the opening ceremony of the Olympics, 2008 at Beijing were a grand success and it was not because of the money they spent but for the way they organized it. every performance was the upliftment of the tradition and culture of china. even the official announcement of the games by the President was in Chinese Language and it was then translated into English.

SO,
wake up...!!! we are living in a country where there is no respect to the culture and tradition???is it that we all forgot the ethics ad values after we are free?? may be the freedom fighters wouldn't have struggled so hard if they knew that we will transform our country this way...!!! where there is no value for the society, no respect to the nation(except on Independence day or the Republic day) and what not...everything. WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY LIKE THIS???

DO WE CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY...???

A very happy independence day to all my readers. Remember the sacrifice the great freedom fighters, the role the inspiring leaders and who not?? Today, we are all able to express our views, ask for the rights, think of the world because of the great effort of the great ancestors who fought for the free nation and sacrificed their lives to the independent India. Lets all bow our heads to them for having given us the dear life on our beautiful mother land.

As India stands on the threshold of her 61st year of Independence, a number of emotions run across every Indian. It is a momentous journey as we go back in time and trace India’s struggle for freedom!!! After 61 years of India’s independence, we have lot many issues to discuss. For a long time, our country was seen as the backward country. But times have changed, the economy is booming, and the country has been reborn. Countries like Japan, USA, and China want to make business with our country. People like J.R.D.Tata, Dhirubhai Ambani, R.Narayanamurthy, Abhinav Bindra, Sunitha Williams, Kalpana Cahwla, A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Rajendra Kumar Pachauri, and many more. They helped India to be lift its position proudly on the Global Platform. May it be the literacy rate, may it be the field of IT, may it be the field of medicine, whichever the field it is, India has left its mark in the recent past.

BUT,

We still are not sure if we are all free. Don’t we find ourselves fighting to get relieved from the clutches of terrorism, poverty, corruption, inequality, etc.???? Today, the Independence Day has become a mere holiday to almost every one. We don’t care about anything that happens in the country unless and until we face it ourselves. We just say “GOVERNMENT is responsible”. But I feel it is we who are responsible. We don’t take the responsibility to the shoulders. We fight for the issues that are not needed at all. But we sit ashore watching the problem that our country is facing. We are loosing the Tradition, and Culture for which our mother land is known for. The knot of the relationship has weakened. The respect to the society is lacking. We see students working day and night for their own well being but not a single hour for the enlistment of the country.
THINK ABOUT IT…!!!
Is our Mother slipping from our hands like sand? Who has given us the gift of bomb blasts instead of fireworks on the eve of our Independence Day? Our so called leaders, are they with us or would they abandon us when we and our motherland will need them? Will I be able to feed my family while living in this country because whatever my motherland produces from within her is very costly and I being the son of the soil am not worthy of having it? Will I ever see the time when basic human needs of modern times will be provided without asking? Will I, my sons, my grandsons, my great grandsons and their sons keep serving this country without asking anything in return? The list of worries is never ending and goes on and on.
I will remember this day as a day which brought us hunger, fear, deprivation, uncertainty, injustice and above all sorrow. Oh don’t consider me sarcastic and pessimist…!!!

YOUNG INDIA...!!!

Every day we find a number of young Indians sitting in front of the computer and cleaning the virus programs but we never find them cleaning their room and not atleast their computer table. There was a time in India when the citizens were known for the neatness and the care they take for their home. What is happening???

Today, the Young India loves to be free and wants to be independent to enjoy their life. They love low waist jeans and enjoy late night parties. They call their mother-MOM and their father-DAD. The lovely words “MAMMA” and “PAPA” are found no where. The generation today goes to the pub every now and then but, they feel it very difficult to visit their granny’s place. They love their friends from the very tender age and give them the highest place in their life, but don’t even care about maintaining the family relationships.

The western culture not only helped us to be globalized but also made us forget the ethics and values for which Indians were known from centuries ago. We find girls taking alcohol and boys growing hair. We find mother buying a pizza to her child and a father asking the marks of his kid. The mother making “LADDUS” is found nowhere, the father teaching “VALUES” of life is not atleast one. Are the parents right??? Is the youth given the right direction???

If this continues, what is the generation –next going to learn from their parents??? Will they learn how to fly kites or how to dance in a pub??? Will they know their granny’s place or the amusement park in their holidays??? Will the parenthood remain important or the friends take important place??? Will the students respect their teachers or they pray to the movie stars??? Will the youth learn the ethics and values or how to flirt a girl???

It is not very late that we can act upon all these facts. If the generation today could think of the tradition and culture of their mother land, and also respect the moral values it can change the way for the generation next. If the parents today think of their child’s future to end in a good life and to inculcate the feeling of love and respect in their children, we can change the present situation of India.

SO WAT DO WE DO??? SHALL WE CONTINUE THE PRESENT ACTIONS OR DO WE ACT ACORDINGLY TO MAKE A GREATFUL INDIA AND WELCOME THE GENERATION NEXT TO THE WORLD FILED WITH VALUES, ETHICS, LOVE, CULTURE, TRADITION AND WAT NOT…….

WAT ARE WE LEARNING????

Education is the gift given to a kid from the early ages. It is the only tool that distinguishes a human from the living things. We learn how to speak, we learn how to behave, we learn how to think, we learn how to express and what not??? We have changed the world this way with the knowledge we got from our parents and the teachers. But is the situation still the same????

If asked then the answer is neither “yes” nor “no”. we are in a situation where we don’t actually know where we are tending towards. Every child today, from his kindergarten age, is fed with the zeal of getting the top mark in the class and the child is working very hard (even if not interested) to gain them because he is afraid of the parents and teachers.

The age of education has become merely a “MARK” oriented process. May it be the primary school or the higher grades. The concept of knowledge is found no where. We find children carrying a bag that weighs more than his own weight, but still we say he is building his future with his back bent. The child, in these days, doesn’t know how to play in the rain( because he is afraid of the teacher who scolds him if he is infected), he doesn’t know how to leave boats in a stream( because he is afraid of his mother who would call in midst to do his home work), he doesn’t wish to watch his favorite cartoon (because he is afraid of his father scolding him for closing his books and keeping them aside).

Should the management be responsible to make the student enjoy his childhood while gaining knowledge??? Should the parent think about his kid’s present than his future??? should the kid leave his parents and teachers aside and enjoy his childhood????

If the child future is to be a great one, should he sacrifice his childhood among the books, marks, IIT foundation classes, hobby classes, Abacus classes, etc...??? this way of education seems to be a good one when seen from the parents side but when the child wants to bring out his dreams, his creativity there is nothing left with him except the “FIRST RANKED” report cards and a bent back.
